Tammy Abraham Needs Chelsea to Shoot their Champions League”anger” out on Liverpool in Super Sunday’s Enormous Premier League Battle on Sky Sports.
The Blues were beaten 1-0 at home from Valencia in their opening Group H fixture on Tuesday night after Ross Barkley missed a penalty for the side of Frank Lampard.
However, Abraham – who has surfaced as Chelsea striker for the very first time this season – immediately looked ahead to Sunday’s match, live on Sky Sports Premier League and and the conquer played down.
“(Sunday) is a test of personality. We could take our anger out from Liverpool,” he said in Stamford Bridge.
“It’s a huge game and both groups are going to win. We are going to look forward to placing (tonight’s defeat) right.
“It is still early doors (in the Champions League). We are fuming we. But there’s still five games to move – we just have to win our next five.
“We’re definitely disappointed. We did not play our best football. Valencia came and stopped us playing how so you have to give credit to , we desired.
“We’re likely to have a great deal of ups and downs in a season. We’ve got to proceed and never dwell on it”
Abraham is one of many academy scholars who’ve been given a chance this season and hailed the backing of his supervisor.
“I have to give it (my personal form) into the director and players,” he explained. “I had a small situation against Liverpool in which I missed a penalty myself and out there they just supported me and believed in me.
“I am playing with these excellent players who create chances, so that I just have to be in the perfect place at the right moment. It’s always good to understand supervisor believes in you. Every game that you wish to do your very best for him personally.”
