Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku endured a broken wrist against the New York Jets Monday night’s game, according to numerous reports.
Though he’s seeking medical opinions on the injury he is expected to be out for at least a month.
Njoku was injured in the first quarter of the Browns’ 23-3 victory.
Because he appeared to land after being upended by Jets cornerback Nate Hairston on an attempted pass from Baker Mayfield on exactly the exact same play, he also suffered a concussion.
He was mastered from further actions after being calmed by trainers to the locker area.
After hauling in four receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown at the season-opening loss to the Tennessee 28, njoku didn’t make a catch in the game.
In his third NFL season, all with the Browns, the 23-year-old from Jersey City, N.J., has career totals of 92 receptions for 1,062 yards and nine touchdowns.
